The exchange programs are unique in that all participants are hosted in the homes of organization members. They include a structured professional program that offers orientation to the organizational, social, economic, and political systems of the host country, site visits, meetings with professionals, and exposure to work methods within the country’s socio-cultural context.
The duration of the training programs ranges from two to four weeks. The cost includes flights, health insurance, and a payment to the hosting branch to cover basic program expenses. Some branches do not require a participation fee.
A good knowledge of English is required. In some countries, knowledge of the local language is required (e.g., France, Spain, and Argentina). In others, knowing the local language is an advantage but not mandatory (e.g., Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, and Morocco).
An official approval from the applicant’s workplace is required when submitting an application!
